Avighna Suresh
Founder and Executive Director
Hello! My name is Avighna and I'm the founder and executive director of STEAMPower! I'm currently a rising senior at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California. I'm really passionate about the intersections of technology and different social needs, especially in accessibility in education and mental health care. Outside of school, I love spending time with my friends and family, writing, theatre, cooking, and coffee!
Achol Jones
Director of Tutoring
Hi! My name is Achol and I’m Co-Director of Tutoring for STEAMPower. I’m in grade 11 in Vancouver, BC. Outside of school I dance and I volunteer. I love to listen to music, read and spend time with friends and family as well. My future goal is to go into medicine because of my passion for the brain and helping others. I’m so excited to share more about STEAMPower with you!
Yoshita Narang
Director of Tutoring
Yoshita Narang is an incoming senior from Dallas, Texas. Since her freshman year, she has developed a passion rooted in the field of STEM. This year, she created a digital platform, Let Her Code, that works to diversify the world of technology by educating the youth. teaching Besides working on academics, she enjoys attending varsity debate tournaments and learning new recipes!
Viti Pathak
Director of Outreach
Viti Pathak is a high school junior from Raleigh, North Carolina. After seeing the lack of STEAM resources for underserved students in her community, she became driven to solve the educational gap. In her free time, Viti likes to tutor, run, and watch Netflix!
Luke Blommesteyn
Director of Outreach
I’m Luke and I’m one of our directors of outreach here at STEAMPower! I’m an 11th grade highschool student from Markham, Ontario. I run varsity cross country and take part in every school club or council that I can ranging from Deca to Ultimate Frisbee. I love building things and solving problems so after high school I hope to study and pursue a career in engineering. Fun fact about me - The office is my favourite show and I’ve watched it over 5 times.
